Temporary graveyard return?

Anyone know any cards that temporarily bring creatures back from the graveyard onto the battlefield? Any color will do. I've seen plenty that bring back to the hand. Still sifting through cards. Is there a better way to search with specific effects?
nbarry223 I was trying to see if there was a way I could trigger Roc Egg multiple times. Kind of like a flicker effect but from the graveyard instead of the hand. Persist style cards might be a good route to look into. I forgot that ruling (cards can enter play with -1/-1 counters, resolve, and then be sent to the graveyard)
Dead_Blue_ I saw this card. Would work perfectly for Roc Egg. Only thing is now I have to figure a way to sack the egg on demand if my opponent wont sack it or cant sack it. Any suggestions would be helpful.

One thing worth noting - This all feels like a lot of steps you're trying to jump through for a 3/3 flyer, especially as Persist could get any number of stronger things, like Serra's Emissary or Archon of Cruelty - or even just Thragtusk.

wallisface I know it seems like a lot. I am trying to make a theme deck for my wife. She really likes birds. I figured it would be amusing to make a decent bird army for her. Otherwise, I agree! There are a lot better combos. Especially for Thragtusk. My favorite being Ephemerate + Thragtusk

Alright, knowing what you are trying to do, I would go with some of the cards that just bring it back when it dies (the non-replacement effect ones). Things like Undying Evil / Feign Death / Undying Malice / Malakir Rebirth Flip.
As wallisface said, there's probably better things to use these cards on, but that's my impression of cards that work for what you are trying to do. You could also look at populate cards to duplicate your tokens, I guess.

Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer could also be a 3 mana bird generator
I’d also strongly recommend Scion of Vitu-Ghazi it’s such a power house 5 mana for 6 power & 3 bodies

You could do something really janky like chucking a Gift of Immortality on it, and then a sacrifice outlet like Goblin Bombardment or Carrion Feeder

are standard reanimation effects like Persist / Goryo's Vengeance not what you are after, or do you want something more like Postmortem Lunge where you are interested in the leaving trigger? Persist could be "temporary" with a 1 toughness creature, since it would die to state-based actions.
You could try https://scryfall.com/ under advanced to search for keywords, but the above are some of the better options in modern.
