Looking for cards that have synergy with Dismiss into Dream .
Its 7 mana so it's not worth it. But you want to use it I'd say Electrolyze , Arc Trail , Arc Lightning , Flameshot , and Magma Opus are your best options to use it with

I guess Cauldron of Souls isn't modern legal. So how about Tetzimoc, Primal Death ?

seshiro_of_the_orochi I think Cauldron of Souls is Modern-legal, with a Shadowmoor print.
Anything with the Strive ability works as precision mass removal. The most mana-efficient in multicolor is Launch the Fleet , and it becomes ridiculously efficient (one-sided wipe for ) if you can cast it with Battlefield Thaumaturge out.

legendofa: Good to know. I thought it was one of these commander-only cards that picked up an older mechanic. Awesome. Btw, Battlefield Thaumaturge is such an awesome card. I have multiple copies and after dismantling my flicker deck, I still haven't found a new shell for it.
Looking at Thaumaturge, Toshiro Umezawa is anothwr nice fit with Dismiss into Dream .

Horobi, Death's Wail is a bit cheaper for the effect, even if it comes at a downside it's probably better anyway.
Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip can flip into a walker that can start killing things.

Thanks for the good advice, I think move Dismiss into Dream from my main deck into a casual EDH deck where the cost isn't as big a deal. It seems like an eccentric oddity and like it just for that but I'll never play it competitively.

Electrickery is probably one of the best cards you can play from hand to take advantage of Dismiss into Dream . It's overload would target every opponent's creatures.
You can also use Cowardice for a lower cost card than Dismiss into Dream .

MagicMarc I'm afraid Electrickery isn't as broken with Dismiss into Dream as you believe, the Overload reminder text literally says you replace "target" with "each". That means an Overloaded spell doesn't target anymore, and won't destroy all illusions you don't control. Which makes sense, hexproof won't save your commander from an Overloaded Cyclonic Rift either, if Overload would mean to "target every possible target" instead of "replace 'target' with 'each'", hexproof would protect from it.
Electrickery is great with Pestilent Spirit though.

If you can work it into a storm deck shell, just run Grapeshot . Or build a human tribal deck and run Riders of Gavony .
