Modern Deck Help forum

I quit standard a while back because I hated buying new decks each rotation, and my friends told me modern would be cheaper in the end because I only need to buy one expensive deck. Does anyone have a spirits list for modern that I can get for cheap and upgrade over time?

What kind of budget do you have?
Also, have you played Spirits before/are you sure you like the playstyle? If so, cool! If not, I'd strongly rec' proxying up the deck first and playing some games with friends/pick-up games at your LGS. It just rots to drop a ton of money on a deck and then find out it's not really for you. I like MTGpress, but there are a bunch of great options.
Anyways, to actually answer your question ...
- Here are a bunch of folks that have been working on Budget Sprits decks recently ... you might want to check out their decks/reach out to them directly.
- SaffronOlive's budget deck is a little dated now (e.g., Supreme Phantom was printed afterwards) but it's still a solid place to start.
- There's an active Spirits community over at r/MTGspirits ... here are some of their budget discussions. Also, you may want to check out the resources they've gathered in the sidebar (or under Menu ... Community info, if you're on the app).

Thanks all! clayperce I played spirits when it was a standard deck in EMN, and it was one of my favorites then. I don't know my meta terribly well, all I know off the top of my head is one friend plays storm and another plays jeskai control. and as far as budget is concerned I mainly just don't want to buy the cards that are like $30 a pop right now.
