I mean Thing in the ice just got spoiled and horrors are just way to cool. I was thinking of making a tribal deck with a discard/mill subtheme.
cards i consider are:
-Hunted Horror
-Hell's Caretaker
-Greater Harvester
-Gleancrawler
-Geralf's Mindcrusher
-Fleshwrither
-Faceless Butcher
-Dread Slaver
-Despoiler of Souls
-Deathbringer Liege
-Creakwood Liege
-Consuming Aberration
-Abyssal Nocturnus
-Void Maw
-Thought Gorger
-Spellskite
-Skaab Ruinator
-Roiling Horror
-Phyrexian Revoker
-Phyrexian Obliterator
-Nihilith
-Nighthowler
-Nemesis of Reason
-Mindwrack Liege
-Murkfiend Liege
-Mindslicer
-Mindleech Mass
-Ludevic's Abomination
-Woodwraith Corrupter
One of the biggest problems with this deck is, of course, mana cost. Horrors are so expensive. But maybe i will find a way around it.
Also this is supposed to more of a casual deck so i don#t really care how it puts up against tron and stuff.
With that said what do you guys think?
You could always run horrors in a Gifts Ungiven shell.
Grab Unburial Rites and some fatties with it.
Or you could go a self-mill route.

is mana cost really an issue? it seems like the average is 4-5 and since youre playing TITI the curve will be filled with spells.

I feel like the best combination would be Spellskite, Hunted Horror, maybe obliterator, TITI, and like snapcaster to abuse the bounce on TITI to get double snap triggers. The rest would be hand disruption and kill spells and like serum visions

Maybe mono black devotion with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as a ramp option.

I think the blue splash could add a lot of power to the deck. I like the self-mill route with Unburial Rites (or Gifts Ungiven), and Consuming Aberration is another option if you were to go that way.

Heartless Summoning could help with the costs. First thing that comes to mind, especially with so many Lieges giving +1/+1 as options...
