Will Ugin Arrive on Ravnica to Battle Bolas?

The third set of the Guilds of Ravncia block shall be the culmination of the battle between the Gatewatch and Bolas, so I am wondering if Ugin shall arrive on Ravnica to join the fight, as well.

Boals is currently the greatest threat to the multiverse at this moment, and Ugin is being built as his good counterpart, so I expect them to fight each other at some point, and, if Ugin does not join the fight, I shall suspect that he has his own agenda and may not be much better than Bolas.

What does everyone else say about this? Will Ugin arrive on Ravnica to battlwe Bolas?

Well we don't know if Ugin's even alive at this point. From what I know, he hasn't emerged from the hedron cacoon yet, and it's unknown how much longer he'll be there. If he has come out by this point, then I don't know how he'll find out about Bolas' whereabouts, since the Gatewatch doesn't know whether Ugin's awake yet either. The only way I see it happening is if Sarkhan relays the information, which is reasonable given Sarkhan's relationship with Bolas. Personally, I really want it to happen, not only because Ugin is the coolest dragon, but also because I've been dying to see him get another card.

Ugin is very much awake. Sorin broke the hedron, and set him free. Ugin met The Gatewatch on Zendikar. He’s currently with Ajani, gathering Planeswalkers to fight Bolas.

I feel like, of after the core set 2019 storyline, ugin is NOT part of the final fight against bolas, there will be a lot of very angry fans. The only way I can see Wotc not dragging him into the fight is if they decide that, once again, this not actually going to be the last Stand against bolas and instead bolas is either just going to destroy the gatewatch like on amonkhet or he's gonna get hurt real bad and escape like all the other times he's been beaten

I'm sure Ugin will show up.

I'm sure Bolas will not succeed in his goal.

These are both certainties of the narrative that they've been building.

The real question is what will be the specifics of the conclusion. Will Ugin have to sacrifice himself, or a member of the Gatewatch? Will the Gatewatch remain intact afterwards, even if all of its members survive? What consequences will Ravnica face in the fallout? And will Bolas escape, be imprisoned, or truly be defeated?

Kanokarob is asking the correct questions. Sure there is room for surprises and twists in the details but the stage and players have been properly set up for the climax of a story.

I will honestly be pretty disappointed in the story of Bolas and at least some of the gatewatch don’t both die (FOR GOOD).

If they don’t the story would lose all stakes as the villain would always get away and the main characters are invincible.

Now this can work, think comic book movies, but in a written story it just feels a bit... wrong.

The comic hints something really really bad happened on Ravnica, Chandra even states she never wants to feel loss like that again. So, I am note sure exactly how this story is going anymore.
