Ok so I've already heard that it is impossible for eldrazi Planeswalkers to exist, but we (the players) count as Planeswalkers too right? so why are we able to play the Eldrazi as spells like we were able to control of them. explain please is there or not Eldrazi Planeswalkers?

Lorewise it makes no sense for any decks that aren't Tribal to exist.

Modern Planeswalkers as we are playing them are not summoning a literal form of their spells. The creatures are imprints, impressions or reflections of the creature. It's not Emrakul, it's the best your magic can do to form raw Mana into an impression of Emrakuls power.

Planeswalkers cards are us summoning Planeswalkers across time and space to help us. It's why they have Loyalty, when it hits 0 they leave.

ah now i understand its like you're not actually summoning those creatures but more or less creating your perception of what they are or the best you can do am i right FaintOfHearts?

then that raises another question. why can we only have one legendary creature when we are the ones who create them and they don't actually exist?

Holdover from early days when summoning was indeed actually summoning stuff from different places and Legendaries were singular characters.

Well lore wise an eldrazi planes walker wouldn't make sense as they can plameswalk themselves and are more powerful then any walker I can think of besides maybe bolas

I don't know what the rules are for being a planswalker... Like idk why and eldrazi or a sliver couldn't planswalk.... So it seems fair game to me at least.

As far as summoning creatures and spells I always thought that by casting Coiling Oracle you indeed were summoning that or one of those creatures to fight for you... Same for both legendary creatures and planswalkers like Venser, Shaper Savant and or Venser, the Sojourner... You actually were summoning that specific creature/planswalker to fight with you... But my example is just an ironic time paradox... Technically legal but makes zero sense as to how you can have both... Unless its you have both but from different times/realities.... Trippy...

I believe that to have a spark you have to be a sentient being. So that is why slivers and beasts and Eldrazi are Not planeswalkers, because theyre not sentient beings.

Actually, it's only intelligent beings that can get a spark. Also, on the MTG story Intro thingy, it says you SUMMON the creatures.

We are just incredible powerful walksers which have not be crippled by mending.
