I was wondering where I could find lores of previous mtg sets. As far as I can see on the mtg website it only goes as far as Tarkir sets.
Was there any story related to sets before that? I'm asking because we're going in theros beyond death and one of my friend keep talking about how excited he is to get elspeth back after she dies in the previous stories but I can't find any of them.
So again, was there any set related stories before tarkir ? If yes what set is the first one that had a story and where can I find them?

MTG Wiki has the lore of characters and planes, more so of the Ice Age, Urza, Tolarian Academy, Ulgrotha, Dominaria, the Golgothian Cylex, really everything. The novels can be bought on Amazon, and the Kindles are rather cheap.
Peruse the old stories. They are rather amazing. :)
