Well, rip Grixis delver and ANT.

ANT far from it. Gitaxian probe is an important but far from key card in the deck.

White decks will come back out of the shadows. I expect to see more stoneblade, maverick, DnT (wasteland decks in general). Definitely more reanimator but hopefully more goblinzzzz

True. Storm will almost certainly remain in the meta. Especially since Deathrite Shaman was one of the better cards against Storm.

Currently I expect D&T to get better, RUG Delver to return, and Miracles to become more popular.

I have no idea what I'm going to play going forward. I had budget 4c Delver (no red), but it relied heavily on Deathrite Shaman. But because of budget reasons, the dual lands I own are Tundra, Tropical Island, and Scrubland, which span 4 colors. Underground Sea and Volcanic Island keep me out of Esper and anything URx. I guess I try to make Bant work? Feels bad.

Go for tin fins and any colors you play are automatically good.

But doesn't Tin Fins play LED's? That's way out of price range.

Oops I meant Nic Fit:

For example

Ah yes, Nic Fit. I could trade into most of that decklist. It also looks totally SWEET.

But I have a full Stoneforge Mystic package and a set of Force of Wills. It'd be a shame to not play them. I'm very attached to them and blue in general. But I fear Stoneblade will be almost exclusively a midrange / control deck requiring many copies of Tundra and other expensive things like Jace.

Would Bant Delver with Stoneforge mystic be a bad idea? I think it would.

ToolmasterOfBrainerd, Bant Delver plus Stoneforge sounds super fun, especially if you're just playing casually. And it might be a meta call for you to take advantage of some gaps in your group's hate to play Stoneforge. Good luck, friend! I know that stinks.

Oh yeah I'm so excited for Arena Rector Nicfit lists! Looks sweeet.

Play esper stoneblade! Basically uw stoneblade control with the black splash giving you access to hand disruption against combo. Can even add in strixes which make for nice equipment wielders and delver/marit liege blockers.

landofMordor I play in sanctioned tournaments at my LGS. So semi-casual? Certainly not as competitive as an open or GP, but there are still a lot of very good players and expensive decks.

rockleemyhero but Underground Sea. Can I do the black splash with just a Scrubland? But I really like the idea of playing Thoughtseize right now.

If it’s just for fnm you can go for 2 watery grave instead. The black shouldn’t be more than a splash. Should be passable for fnm. If you are heavy basics and using back to basics, then even 1 sunken hollow might work ok

July 2, 2018 12:21 p.m.

True. I won't be playing Daze anymore so the life should be fine. And I already own 2 Graves. And I can probably trade my Tropical Island into another Tundra, which would probably make the mana good enough.

I also already have support cards like Snapcaster Mage. I'd need to get Jace, the Mind Sculptors, but I can get over that. If I get Jace I might even change my modern deck to grixis control and play him there as well.

Back to Basics seems like a good way to leverage a manabase with minimal duals. But it's also expensive. I'm not good enough at legacy to brew, but I'm sure plenty of Esper stoneblade lists will pop up in the next few weeks.

I'm stunned the banned probe not so much DRS.

As a BR Reanimator player it feels like Christmas ahead of some legacy tournaments in the coming two months. Deck just feels like free win central.

Jeskai DelverBlade

What about this for the upcoming legacy meta? I think it has potential. It has a fast clock, can go bigger than RUG Delver, and has a lot of disruption for Reanimator, storm, and other combo decks.

Miracles might be a nightmare. I'm not really sure.

If I trade my Trop and Scrubland into 1 Volcanic Island, then I almost have the deck. Basically just the sideboard.

I might actually be able to clock people with Goblin Lackey now.

I'm still sad, though, as Deathrite Shaman is one of my favorite cards. I just finished building Punishing Jund, too.
