So, I'm a savage control player, and recently my playgroup allowed 20 proxies, so I immediately went to make the most frustrating control deck in my budget! So, which one would be the most frustrating (and most powerful) for my opponent? Decks: Dimir Supercontrol, Why Are You Killing Yourself? ~Death's Shadow~, or Sultai Mayhem.

Brew up a stax/prison deck. You will be universally despised.

I will definitely think about a prison deck! What color combination will be the best do you think? (I'd prefer to not use white or green, but if it really adds a big boost I will)

Mono red prison or mono w stax are the go-to.

Sweet, I definitely used red (I just finished making it) but I also added in blue for Blue Elemental Blast and Hydroblast! You're Trapped - Prison Control

Personally, I loath mill. If I don't have graveyard tricks in my deck, it's basically watching everything get exiled. If I can't do anything with what's in my hand, then I get to watch piles of lands and interactions taken away from me, it leaves me with a very negative experience.

I just want to sit down and cast spells and do dumb shit. Being told "Hey, you know that deck you spent a couple hundreds bucks and a few weekends on? Nah." just feels heart breaking.

I hate mill, so much. BUT-- it also is very uncommon among EDH, so thankfully it's not an issue 97% of the time. So really it's more of an annoyance. The issue really comes from when all I'm up against is mill for an entire night. At that point, I might as well call it a night, pack up and find a better use for my time. Call me salty if you want, but my idea of fun is not being told "No." for an hour straight.

That being said, if you want an oppressive control deck, Oloro, Ageless Ascetic is a great choice. I've seen entire tables fold with just Winter Orb in play and Oloro hitting that life exchange with an unstoppable force.

Okay, I've finally narrowed it down to 2 decks, Advantage - Izzet Delver, or You're Trapped - Prison Control. What do you guys think?
