Will WotC Ever Print a Creature Version of Privileged Position?

Privileged Position is an excellent card, but it has no way to defend itself; obviously, a second copy will protect both, but that will not work in singleton formats, such as EDH (yes, a player could use Copy Enchantment, but that is an unreliable combo).

I think that a creature version of that card would be great (and, preferably, in the same colors), since creatures are much easier to use, and, when combined with Shalai, Voice of Plenty, each would grant hexproof to the other.

What does everyone else say about this? Would you like to see a creature version of Privileged Position?

Could this and the other thread not be combined

LeaPlath, yes, I suppose that they could, but I would then need to change the title of the tread to reflect the new content.

I really feel like Shalai, Voice of Plenty is pretty close to priviliged position. Having position's ability on a creature might be ok, but on a possible commander, it would be very powerful. I guess we might one day get it, and it might even be in Commander Legends, but I won't be sad if it's not.

With the general question regarding old spells as commanders, I'd love to see Guided Passage on a Temur legend.

Gleeock, Archetype of Endurance is a nice card, but it grants hexproof only to creatures, whereas Privileged Position grants that ability to all other permanents.

shadow63, I actually made a custom creature several months ago named privileged princess, but I doubt that WotC would have their version be identical to one made by a player.

Miss Greater Auramancy much? I'd really only run those cards in enchantress decks, otherwise Shalai is much better.

DemonDragonJ you said in both of your posts that creatures are easier to use. How do you come to that conclusion when creatures are easier to remove and cost more because the effect comes with a body?

TriusMalarky, Greater Auramancy is a great card, but it affects only enchantments and enchanted creatures, so it is too limited, and, as a side note, it definitely needs to be reprinted, since its price is now quite high.

DarkMagician, I am perfectly willing to accept that increased vulnerability and cost because a creature can attack and block, and, more importantly, is easier to "cheat" onto the battlefield, be "flickered" or copied, and be reanimated than is an enchantment (although all of those can be done to enchantments, but not as easily as to creatures); for example, I replaced Warstorm Surge with Terror of the Peaks in red/blue/green EDH deck with Riku of Two Reflections as its general, because Riku can copy the dragon, providing twice as much damage for each creature that enters the battlefield under my control.

Also, in the specific case of Privileged Position, a creature version of it would receive hexproof from Shalai, Voice of Plenty, who, in turn would receive hexproof from that creature, meaning that they would both have that mechanic, and only a mass destruction spell could affect them, at that point.

I think one reason there's not more of that effect is that you don't really want a hexproof lock. Or maybe you do. I mean, I love Armageddon, so you can play hexproof indestructible locks all you want.

TriusMalarky, one of my friends has an EDH deck with Memnarch as the general, and, if he can generate sufficient mana, it is nearly impossible to win after he has stolen everyone's permanents, so, if I could give all of my permanents hexproof, I would foil one of his deck's main strategies.
