Why Was Copying Spells Moved From Blue to Red?

Both red and blue can copy instants and sorceries, but, in recent years, red has had that ability far more often than has blue, so I wonder why that is. I see no good flavor or mechanical reason for that ability to not be equally shared among those two colors.

What does everyone else say about this? Why has red had more copying than has blue, recently?

Blue still gets its fair share of copy effects, just look at Insidious Will , Narset's Reversal , Naru Meha, Master Wizard , and Psychic Rebuttal . All printed in pretty recent years.
