Why has WotC not Made the Life Counters from CA a Regular Product?

The life counter introduced in Commander's Arsenal is an awesome product, and I have one, having purchased it as a single item online, and I am very glad that I did purchase it, because it has proven to be immensely useful, so I naturally am very sad that WotC produced it only for that set, and has not produced any further copies.

I personally think that it would be great if WotC made the life counters a regular product, as they would be a significant increase in quality from dice or flat plastic pieces with wheels that turn, and would also make them more affordable and easier to obtain.

What does everyone else say about this? Why has WotC not made the life counters from Commander's Arsenal a regular product, and do you wish that they would?

It was also in commanders anthology. But yeah they should come with every commander precon

The spindowns are better for branding, and I would say (as someone who has and uses a Scrye Counter) that I much prefer having dozens of dice than dozens of life counters.

I do like the 100 point life counters they have put in some of the commander product. I would also like to see that as a standalone item sold by them.

I think the spindown dice should stay in the product they normally get released in for 2 reasons. Like already said, they are more useful to players since we use them for tracking loyalty, counters on creatures, markers and tokens. And also because they are collectible since they get imprinted with the set icon.

Are these what you are talking about?

Hardhitta7, those are exactly the products to which I am referring, and I do know that plenty of people are selling such products on Etsy or similar online stores, but it still would be nice if WotC were to produce them, more frequently.

Yeah they are nice! Someone at my LGS let me use on of theirs once and I really liked it.

During our kitchen table magic nights (when MtG with friends was still a regular thing), we preferred using an app on someones phone who keeps track of all life totals in the middle of the table. Easier for everyone to keep track of all players in a glimpse. We use Carbon app.

But for FNM and such, I would use the life counter suggested here. Great solid piece and less likely to fall over giving second thoughts about what the actual life total was again....
