Lets suppose that in many many years, Wotc uses up every possible card name. What happens then?

The Second Edition of the 20-volume Oxford English Dictionary contains full entries for 171,476 words in current use (and 47,156 obsolete words), says word counter. I don't want to do the math, but that many could create a loooooot of combinations, especially considering how many words WotC comes up with :)

There are probably millions if not trillions of possible card names. And if we do run out, then it's probably worth just reprinting things into rebuilt Standard sets that are amalgamations.

We just add "_01" to the end of the new cards and start the dictionary again.

Just minimal alterations become quite hilarious:

Erratic Cyclops Into Erotic Cyclops

Polis Crusher to Police Crusher (see/google Roger Pion of Vermont for a laugh!)

And so forth

TypicalTimmy: Lightning Bolt_01 is actually a 6/7 Blue/green Leviathan with flying, just to make it even more complicated.

Lets put it this way:
