Phenomenal Art/Flavor Text on Phenomenally Bad Cards

So a lot of the art and flavor text in MTG gets lost because it is printed on truly awful cards. For example:
These are all bad to unplayable cards, yet have absolutely stunning art.
What are some of your favorite pieces of art that have been stuck on terrible cards?

A lot of Izzet cards from RTR block are really neat to me: Blast of Genius, Teleportal, Melek, Izzet Paragon, Thoughtflare, and Mercurial Chemister. I'm also a fan of Searing Spear's flavor.

CharlesMandore, my pick for good art on eh cards is the gameday Melek, Izzet Paragon. So much better than the original and looks awesome as an EDH general.

I know it is not a bad card at all, but on the note of really good art, I love Enter the Infinite, and Omniscience.I also love the Duress art, the one with the dragon
