Golgari Graveyard Drops? Opinions wanted!

I'm looking for people's opinions on card choice.
I run a Golgari deck, which works on feeding Lotleth Troll and the scavenge mechanic with Varolz's ability.
Which do people think is the better card for getting cards into your graveyard? Mulch or Grisly Salvage ??
I like Grisly Salvage more, because:
a) It's instant speed
b) If you're heavy on land, you can get a creature instead.
c) It looks at 5 cards, one more than Mulch
Mulch is better if your deck cares about lots of mana, but I still feel Grisly Salvage has more utility, even though it only ever offers the one card. If you see one of your decks's center pieces like Varolz, the Scar-Striped or Lotleth Troll , that would probably suck.

Thanks Dallie, I'm really split between the two, I wouldn't say my deck is dependant on the mana, but Mulch kind of feels nice to know that you're not losing potential mana in your graveyard, and only gets creatures in there.
But you're right taking the land and then seeing my center pieces drop into the grave would really suck.
I hadn't thought about the instant/sorcery difference, so thanks for that, I'm currently going with Grisly Salvage because of the choice it offers.
Always good to gauge opinion on something, when you're in two minds.

If you have a deck link I'd be happy to take a look at it as well. I just ran an Ultimate Guild Challenge: Golgari which could maybe give you some inspiration? It's not a standard challenge, but many of the cards are Standard legal.
