What are some affordable improvements I can make to my Modern Sliver deck?

So I built this Sliver focused deck, but I really don't have the budget to be spending $20 AUD per card so that I can build the sickest deck ever. Therefore, I'm wondering what some improvements I can make to this deck are to make it more capable, even if it isn't going to be winning any tournaments

Creatures x4 Cloudshredder Sliver x4 Diffusion Sliver x3 Galerider Sliver x2 Megantic Sliver x2 Venom Sliver x3 Manaweft Sliver x2 Tempered Sliver x2 Sentinel Sliver x3 Leeching Sliver

Instant x3 Shock x2 Giant Growth

Sorcery x4 Channel the Suns

Lands x3 Evolving Wilds x3 Transguild Promenade x4 Plains x4 Swamp x4 Island x4 Mountain x4 Forest

The core of a modern silvers deck should be Predatory Sliver and Sinew Sliver. Then you can go GWU or GWUR depending on if you wanna be more tempo or more aggro

The shock, giant growth, and channel are meh and not worth playing. 26 lands is too many and the mana base could be cheaply improved.

for a sliver build I tend to focus on Venom Sliver plus Striking Sliver, with Sinew Sliver and Predatory Sliver being the core of the deck. Also worth considering a full playset of Manaweft Sliver since it goes so well with your Sentinel Sliver. Also looks like you could totally get away with going naya instead of WUBRG, as it'll smooth out your mana base.

Wrap in Vigor is a really good budget option for surviving Supreme Verdict and other destruction effects. I used it in my elf deck until I got Heroic Intervention.

I'll echo the comments on focusing on the 2-drop Slivers that buff your team. Megantic Sliver is probably too expensive and slow. Shock should probably be upgraded to Lightning Bolt or Dead / Gone. I don't think Giant Grown and Channel the Suns will do enough.

Unclaimed Territory and Secluded Courtyard would be relatively cheap additions to the manabase that make casting all your Slivers easier. Phantasmal Image can be another one of any Sliver you want.

MollyMab You're right, I should absolutely focus on Predatory Sliver and Sinew Sliver those are definitely better options for boosts than Megantic Sliver. The only way I was able to get it out in the game I played with my friend is because I used Channel the Suns and that also took a minute to utilise.

Do you have recommendations for some non basic lands that I could use in the deck by any chance?

Snap157 I like this advice too, Venom Sliver was very useful when I played against my friend, and he definitely prioritised getting it off the field, so I absolutely wanna max it out. I'll consider the same for Striking Sliver as well. Also agreed with Manaweft, that proved to be very helpful multiple times. Should I use more Sentinels?

As far as going Naya, I see the thought process and I agree that the deck doesn't really need to be WURBG, but Galerider Sliver and Diffusion Sliver are pretty helpful so I'm not sure

Icbrgr This is probably just me misunderstanding the rules, so I maybe just need a clarification, how does Wrap in Vigor help against Supreme Verdict?

SpammyV yup I agree, Megantic is out. Doesn't buff enough for the effort it takes to get him out and Predatory + Sinew should do well enough.

Even if I upgrade Shock to Lightning Bolt, should I even keep it in the deck do you think?

Unclaimed Territory and Secluded Courtyard seem useful but just to check, am I right in my understanding that "cast a creature spell" is the same thing as summoning a creature? It's just that the limitation on the card is that it can only be used for Slivers, provided that they're the creature type I choose?

Phantasmal Image is cool, do you think I should opt for that, or maybe a changeling creature with another useful ability?

Regeneration is a replacement effect which means: "The next time this permanent would be destroyed this turn, it isn't. Instead tap it, remove all damage from it, and remove it from combat."

opponent casts Supreme Verdict.... you cast Wrap in Vigor... your creatures live.

Whether you need the removal in Lightning Bolt depends on what you're playing against. In general I think most Sliver decks are just Slivers and lands.

Yes, as long as you name "Sliver" with Secluded Courtyard and Unclaimed Territory, you can tap them for mana of any color in order to cast a Sliver.

It's a few bucks, but more option is Realmwalker to let you cast Slivers off the top of your library.
