Silver Border: Stopping opponent from using their hands.

Deck Help forum

I'm trying to brew a kitchen table deck around Sly Spy C and Farewell to Arms to get my opponent into the position where they are unable to physically continue playing the game and have to concede. Any suggestions of anything that could combo to achieve this with the above. Thinking at going dimir to add some copy creature cards to make more Sly Spies

I'd suggest some type of black and white deck with a lot of recursion and tutors

A/ Even if you lose both hands, barring shuffling, you can use your mouth to move cards and chin to tap/untap them.

b/ Losing a finger from sly spy is even more trivial - wrap the finger up in some bandage for example and you are good to go.

A: That's why forcing shuffling is opponent plus many people would not want to use their mouth to draw cards

B: One finger is trivial so that's why I need Sly Spy to deal damage multiple times with either extra combat steps or clones. Touch is also defined as 'handle in order to interfere with, alter, or otherwise affect' as well as 'come into or be in contact with' so putting a layer between the skin and cardboard shouldn't help as you would still be using the finger for game actions. Plus this is clearly against the spirit of the card!

Should read 'shuffling is important', not 'shuffling is opponent' above. If I were to add in red for the extra combat steps instead of blue or white then I would have cards like Soldier of Fortune. However Emergency Powers mentioned above seems great at doing this so probably will go with blue and white (just hesitant to go three colours).
