Planeswalkers: Fires vs Ramp

I'm planning on creating a wet Naya (UGWR) planeswalkers deck, but I'm not sure which strategy of mana to go for: Fires of Invention , or Paradise Druid + Chromatic Lantern . Here're the full options: 4 Paradise Druid + 3 Chromatic Lantern vs 4 Fires of Invention , 1 Fae of Wishes , 1 Spark Double , 1 Ajani, the Greathearted .

Fires would allow me to play black in my sideboard and fetch it with Fae of Wishes , but fires is also pretty unreliable. A third option is putting in fires, but having the other option in the sideboard to switch to for games 2-3 if needed, but that takes up a lot of card slots.

It depends a lot on what you intend to do besides cast 'walkers. If you want to defend them via countermagic and instant-speed removal, Fires is going to shut that down. If you want to swing in with creatures or accrue more of a boardstate, Fires can bolster that plan.

I don't have a lot of instant-speed stuff, but I'm also not playing many creatures. I have Deafening Clarion and Fae of Wishes as some of my only non-planeswalker stuff in the deck. Evolution Sage too.

I think I've pretty much decided on fires so I can play some much-needed black in the sideboard.

Firstly, I love the name wet naya for I am stealing that haha.

I think both options are viable, but what's worth considering is that Fires of Invention pushes you into a very linear, identical gameplan each game. if you enjoy nuance and interaction like I do, then fires may not be for you. Also, drawing additional copies of fires are almost always dead cards so if deck slots are at a premium as they often are in walker decks that is another thing to consider.
