So I'm after ideas on the deck (it's supposed to be janky goodstuff) but I'm also trying to figure out how to fix it saying I only have 99 cards when the full 100 is represented. I'm guessing it's the companion (do they not count as part of the 100?)

The companion is in addition to the 100 and I think should be represented in the sideboard. Your commander and 99 other cards must all 100 oblige to the companion deckbuilding rules.
