I am continuing my ongoing effort to make creature versions of enchantments, and my newest choice is Training Grounds, which is another excellent card, but is useless on its own, so here is a creature version of it:

I decided to add an additional color, since white focuses strongly on creatures as well as the idea of self-improvement and training. Is hybrid mana acceptable, or should it instead cost ? Should I reduce its power and toughness, since I do not wish for it to cost more than 3 mana? What does everyone else think of this card?

I think a 2/2 would be better since the reduction effect is strong. A 2/2 is still potentially decent, especially with vigilance. Plus, white and blue prefer smaller creatures.
As for hybrid mana, I'm a fan. Still waiting to go back to Shadomoor.

At three mana, this is just a worse Zirda, the Dawnwaker. Zirda is also a 3/3 for 3, but it's an easier 3 to cast due to the hybrid mana and Zirda's ability reduces non-creature ability costs, making her an extremely potent combo tool.
Since this ability is so much worse than Zirda's, I think you should reduce the cost to 2, reducing the power/toughness to 2/2 to compensate. Which means we just reinvented Biomancer's Familiar.

Flooremoji, Caerwyn, I completely forgot about Biomancer's Familiar, which means that making this card was entirely pointless.

I mean it's not entirely pointless. Having this effect in another color identity can be very relevant.

I've previously made this for EDH, cost reduction for abilities is something I'd like to see more of: Diadem of Focus

As a side note, Training Grounds very much needs a reprint, due to how expensive it has become.
