- I can’t not see “Jughead” when I read this card. Still awesome.
- I think, especially since it’s a Djinn (and because I like balanced pain/costs), instead of giving an opponent a chance at losing they should have a chance at gaining control of him (and all his life-draining deals). There would need to be some sort of mechanic for figuring out who gets him. Maybe if you lose the flip he goes to a random opponent.
- I had never thought of planeswalkers in this way before, but it’s ideal for player trading because you won’t be color-blocked by activation costs. Really fun! Gives everyone a chance at some gas, takes life out of the overall pool... good times all around!

Sorry - yeah, I’ll clarify. When it comes to swapping permanents there are often problems with activation costs like “pay RRU to...” but you’re playing black so you can’t use it. That can be super advantageous when it comes to beating your opponent, but if you want people to pass things around and use them they usually need to be artifacts that run on colorless. I had never thought about the universal nature of activating a planeswalker when it comes to trading permanents.

No no - I’m really sorry. I was just thinking out loud; that maybe in place of “I get free cards or you lose” you could have “I get cards or you get to try your luck with the genie”. Just exploring the aesthetic of the card. Sorry for the confusing runaround!! ;p
