Which commanders bust Nadir Kraken open the most? And how?
Pir, Imaginative Rascal partnered with Toothy, Imaginary Friend seems like it would synergies pretty well with it.

Azami, Lady of Scrolls plus Intruder Alarm = fun.

Depends on your desires. I had a mono blue sea monster deck led by Kami of the Crescent Moon. It played lots of group draw, and rocks to propel the deck into beasts. Nadir would love that deck. It was absolutely casual though.

I honestly wish it was legendary. I'd love that deck lol

I stuck it in my Ezuri, Claw of Progress deck. Seems like it'll do some solid work in there.

Doesn't Nadir Kraken go infinite with Ashnod's Altar + Mentor of the Meek or Ashnod's Altar + Kindred Discovery?
If it does then I think the best Cmdr is Ephara, God of the Polis

griffstick I don't like infinite combos, but those are fun.

It's not infinite without the altar but still strong.

I threw him into my oceanic themed Thassa, Deep-Dwelling deck along with Whirlpool Rider. It's durdly and fun :)

I made a deck with Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle. It doesn't "break" Nadir Kraken but flavor wise it fits and you can't really argue against ramp when dealing with the prospect of casting heavy hitters as Krakens, Leviathans, Serpents, and Octopi tend to be.

Paeldroth, I just wrote up my Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle deck:

Hopefully there's some cool stuff in there you can use! And did you mean Lorthos, the Tidemaker?

FreedFox, no he means Vorthos. A Vorthos is another name along with Timmy, Johnny, and Spike. Where Timmy likes big dumb spells and creatures, Johnny likes crazy combos, and Spike only wants to win; a Vorthos builds their deck with strong themes or flavor. A Vorthos player will forego playing stronger cards in favor of worse cards that are on theme or flavor. The Lorthos, the Tidemaker you mentioned is absolutely a Vorthos card in a sea creature flavor build :)

Ah! Thank you for educating me! (Seriously) I'm very old and new to actually talking to other people about this game.
