Lore Based Decks

I was just laying in bed unable to sleep and thinking about Dakkon Blackblade (as one does). I got to thinking, there is a Blackblade Reforged card and Korlash, Heir to Blackblade , Demonlord Belzenlok had the sword and ol Gids is the current wielder. I could totally make an edh deck based on the lore of blackblade (plus some ramp so it can be not completely terrible).
My question to you is; if you were to make a janky lore based edh deck, what story in magic would you base it around?

I would probably pick
Liliana, Heretical Healer
Flip and
Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
Flip for the first two.. for the third i'm a bit in trouble since i don't actually think there aren't legendary esper creatures involved in the story.. Not even dimir using
Sorin Markov
so it would be complicated ahahah.. this one could be good for an esper deck in modern and not in edh..

I feel like there aren’t a ton of characters you can really pick from since a lot of the lore is focused on Planeswalkers. But if I had to pick one I’d probably go with Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir since he has had a long run in the Mtg lore. Either him or Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain and just do something with the weatherlight story.

The problem is also that is often complicated to follow the rule about commander colours.. i mean in my examples the only that could work is liliana's deck since josu and all the demons are in black.
I'm not saying it's impossible but is a nice challenge ahahah..

Joe_Ken_, there are a ton of sets with multiple story arcs, factions, and flavorful legendaries within. I think the weatherlight would make for a cool deck

I'd image that the easiest EDH General to build a full bore vorthos/lore deck would be Nicol Bolas because he had his fingers/claws dipped into so many other events and stories in his quest for power/ascension.
My next pick might be O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami and have lots of stuff interacting with That Which Was Taken .

Yeah, the commander colors can make for difficulties. I think sometimes it could be overlooked if the commander isn't on flavor if it is strictly for the right colors.

I would base my deck on Jace and his passion for weird-hot women since i find it funny that if i had to pick you female pw to go on a date with i would chose one between Liliana and Vraska.
Being serious, i would pick one between Lily or Jace and try to tell their story since they are my favourite characters.
And since my favourite story arc is "Shadow over Inninstrad" i would try to build an Esper deck with Jace, Tamiyo, Sorin and Avacyn.
