Hey everybody i thought it might be cool to have a place to share some fun "pet cards" as a way for everyone to learn about some fun and interesting cards they may not have known about otherwise! I'll start with a card i often find myself putting into any deck with green in it: Seedtime . Just a nice all around fun card to use against control that they never see coming

The Great Aurora . Who doesn't like a board wipe in mono-green?

Two of my favorite little pet cards are Arcbond and Radiate . Specifically because I turn them into a suicide combo.

Murmuring Mystic I always start out with him/her in the 99 of blue instant and sorcery based decks, but it always ends up cut because, while I love the flavor and art, there tends to be something better for its slot.

I might make a pauper commander deck with it at the helm at some point.

It's a well known card; but I love Duplicant

It can be slotted into almost any deck since it's colorless. I'm running it in more than half my decks for sure

With the recent banning of Paradox Engine , I’ve found myself slotting Extract in its place for those decks, as they all included blue. If I don’t get my engine, then Gitrog doesn’t get his Dakmor Salvage (or whatever combo enabler my opponents deck uses)...enjoy that salty flavor!

Archfiend of Depravity is excellent in most metas and is grossly underutilized and underappreciated. (There's no reason the alternate art foil should be $2-3...)

I really like Thaumatic Compass  Flip in my Boros decks since it can help fish out lands and then turns into a nice defensive utility land if I need it.

Shadowborn Apostle , Stuffy Doll , and Mairsil, the Pretender are all really fun cards for me that I wish I could jam into every deck...

It's definitely not a competitive card, but I love Soothsaying , especially in decks that care about the top of the library, like Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign and Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge . It's saved alot of my mana-screwed starts, and in the late game helps to find your haymakers.

Karametra's Acolyte , if you ask me, is a must have for any deck using Green. That devotion eventually adds up, you know.

I really enjoy Selvala, Explorer Returned . Both as a commander but in the 99 as well. I had her as commander for a while but still run her in 2 out of my 3 active lists.

She's just a good card across the board. Ramp, Card advantage (even if it's symmetrical), good stats and even dope art.

Stranglehold , Aven Mindcensor , Ashiok, Dream Render , and occasionally Mindlock Orb and/or Widespread Panic to incentivize deck builders to build with fewer tutors.

Sunbird's Invocation , Mind's Dilation , and Maelstrom Nexus , because enchantments stick around for a while, and I like getting spells for free.

Lethal Vapors and Storm Cauldron have always been some fun cards that really change up how the game goes.

Dismiss I've found myself putting into most tuned but not cedh level decks, Cryptic Command of the 2 most common choices is a really nice budget option.

I had once bought a bunch of the prerelease hebrew Glory and I find it somewhat nice.

I also admit to running Isochron Scepter in nearly all of my blue decks ever since I bought every Dramatic Reversal at one of the stores nearest me, even if the mana combo for the deck only works with maybe a burn spell.

Vengeful Dreams - Massive blowout card. People actually check to see if I have two Plains untapped during combat as if it's the white equivalent of Counterspell . The payout can be pretty severe, but it leaves a big impression on anyone who turns their board-state sideways at you. I don't see Vengeful Dreams come up most games, but everyone in my playgroup now plays as if I potentially have it in hand.

Seal of Cleansing - With Disenchant you surprise someone and take away something powerful from them. In a multiplayer game you just leave the seal out and the other three opponents sit on their best artifacts and enchantments in hand, because they don't want to lose it to the seal. Having one card impact the entire table over a span of the game versus the single 1-for-1 interaction you get from Disenchant is huge.

Some cards are very simple in their effects, but a lot of people tend to over look the potential mind games that can be had like with these cards, because that advantage isn't explicitly written on the card.

I also have a sweet spot for Gruul Ragebeast : All your creatures are removal spells!!

I love Winds of Rebuke , its a strong effect for blue with the benefit of hosing expensive top deck tutors for a quarter.
