Best Mana Dork In the Game?

Commander (EDH) forum

I have always wanted a mana dork commander to pilot a 5 color edh deck. Do you think this card is balanced or would it break the format and be played in every 5 color edh deck if wizards printed it?

Obviously MY favorite is the commander of my Haunted House deck; Princess Lucrezia Strongest island in the game. Bam.

Esika, God of the Tree  Flip isnt took expensive to play and counts as a five color commander. And turns all of your other legendary creatures into five color mana dorks. And even gives them vigilance so you can attack with them and still tap them for mana when needed.

looks like WOTC likes a mana dork commander for five colors to cost around 3 to play. Which almost puts them in line with mana rocks that can tap for similar. And, in the late game, you can play Esika as The Prismatic Bridge  Flip which can almost make needing mana dorks unnecessary.

Oops, i forgot to comment on your card, Jeryak, Darksteel Gardener. I do like this card but it may be a little over the top for commander.

On the surface of things it does not seem too bad. But there are only like two other creatures in all of magic that can tap for mana with little or no restrictions with a mana value of 1. And no creatures at this mana value are indestructible or have a similar protection ability. It comes into play has a half-Sol Ring and is resistant to removal. Then with 1 mana of any type it can tap for mana of any color. There are not even many artifacts that can do the same unless they have Mox or Lotus in their name. And many of those have restrictions and additional costs. Might be a little too strong for gameplay.

You can always see if your pod will let you Rule 0 a custom commander card and take it for a spin...

Jeryak is probably a bit much. Compare to Prismatic Lens. Adding indestructible + the ability to block and potentially deal damage, and on top of that making it always accessible as a commander, and then making the whole package cost one mana, it just ends up as feeling like perfect mana utility.

Also, is there a way to rearrange the mana symbols? The only other card that uses that template is Surgeon General Commander, which specifically calls it out in the flavor text. Maybe make Jeryak cost and remove the ability to tap for ? Just pitching ideas here, not saying this is the right answer, but Jeryak feels way too efficient right now.
