Hey, looking for some people to play EDH on TTS. Send me message for more information.

The only game I play on TTS is Terraforming Mars, the interface is a bit tedious.

I've been playing EDH on Untap.in though, it's pretty good for that purpose. SynergyBuild turned me on to it.

jaymc1130 Well TTS is good for playing EDH, way better than untap. I have some who I play with; if you're interested I can show you how it works and we can see if you enjoy it?

Why is TTS better? I play on untap as well and agree that TTS is way too tedious.

jaymc1130 I will second that TTS is fantastic for EDH. Actually speeds some things up since shuffling is instant. Only issue I ever have is sometimes the draw and scary buttons break (easy to fix though). Plus loading decks just needs a TappedOut link.

I would be interested, though I cannot promise anything with a busy work schedule.

P.S. jaymc1130 how is Terraforming Mars on TTS? It's my favorite boardgame by far, but it is difficult to get people in person to play (especially nowadays)

Untap’s shuffling is instant.... Just press V. You can shuffle as many times you want.

Both are good imo.

TM is ok on TTS, it's just slow with no real automation, though you can play the expansions. The Steam version is ok, but it has some bug issues and server side issues, but it's automated and faster even though it's only the base game.

I've been rank 1 on Steam and usually am somewhere in the 1950-2050 elo range on Steam depending how much I've played recently, so I've been a top 10 or so player of TM in the world for about 2 years now. I've got a few articles posted on BGG.

It is tough to get people to play TM irl these days though, Covid lockdown makes it tough. I've always been most partial to the colonies expansions since their is universally accessible card draw for all players with that and it helps even out the luck factor inherent in all card games. Playing with that and Preludes is by far the most common way me and my family play.

Daveslab2022 To be fair, I have never seen or heard of Untap.in. I just looked up a few videos of it to get an idea of it. It seems more streamlined than the TTS version for certain. The biggest reason I would still stick with TTS for EDH is the feeling. I physically have a deck, there are people playing across the table from me and next to me, and everything has a weight to it. It's just that minor step of realism I appreciate, but I understand that doesn't actually make it a better client.

jaymc1130 Okay, good to know! I'll need to give your articles a read. My fiancé and I are typically the only players, and we use Prelude and Turmoil. I still need to acquire the other expansions, though I'll be waiting on that since I backed the Big Box on KS.

Ehm what is TTS? I know its short for text to speech, but I guess you are refering to a site or program?

Table top simulator.

It’s a game on steam that you can use to play basically any board game that’s ever existed, but with your computer.
