So I’m working on an angel tribal deck in Boros with Aurelia, the Warleader as the commander and was curious if anyone knew about any really good angels that don’t get a lot of live in edh or any good stuff that would just make a Boros deck run a little more consistently.

In addition to Smothering Tithe , another new card to consider is Divine Visitation . Possibly a token sub-theme? You've already got Moonsilver Spear , Luminarch Ascension , etc. Assemble the Legion or Rise of the Hobgoblins could be pretty sweet.
Your biggest issue will be card draw, so definitely run the Land Tax + Scroll Rack combo if you have it.

DerektheRed I don’t think I’m going to go with tokens, but that is a pretty good batch of cards for if I wanted to switch it to be more token themed. As for Land Tax and Scroll Rack I’ve been trying to get a land tax from one of my buddies, but scroll rack seems a bit expensive.

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight is always a great card to add in a Boros angel deck. And if you’re using Aurelia, the Warleader as your commander, Helm of the Host creates a great combo with her.

MESS1802 I’ve got Gisela,Blade of Goldnight for the deck and correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t Helm of the Host make it unlimited combat steps or how would that turn out?

Joe_Ken_, yes, that’s correct. Each token is a new creature that hasn’t attacked yet, so whenever a new token attacks, the ability triggers.

MESS1802 I think I’m a little on the fence about Helm of the Host only because I’ve been thinking of running the Sunforger combo with Mistveil Plains , Chance for Glory / Final Fortune , with Angel's Grace also with Platinum Angel in the deck for infinite turns. Unless you think it’d be better to have both those infinite combos in the deck?

Joe_Ken_, I really like those combos you listed. I don’t think you NEED Helm of the Host per se, but if you end up with an open slot in your deck, I’d recommend throwing it in. It’s more for the “this is now the only way I can win” situation.

Mark for Death I think is a hidden gem for combat deck including red. As for Angel's, you have Subjugator Angel & Sunblast Angel that work well together, esp if you include a blink package. Angel of Condemnation can be used both offensively and defensively. Angel of Finality for gy hate, Brisella for shiggles, Angelic Arbiter to slow things down.
