I am doing Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh for Commander. I wanna do it Voltron style. This is the way. Who should his partner be? I actually kinda, REALLY don't want to make it boros, but Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist just seems too good. I kind of had an idea to use the lizard that lets me damage all opponents when he damages one but I am not too sure about mono red since mono red won't have any answers to a lot of problems. Then I saw this blue commander Esior, Wardwing Familiar. It will GREATLY increase the safety of Rograkh, and give me Blue as an option which I might be able to use for control. So I can potentially do Voltron Control? I have no idea what I should put in it aside from counterspells though. Any ideas of what to do for blue if I go down that route? Enchantments, artifacts, spells, control stuff? I already have all the counterspell shit I could ever need for it like mana drain and force of will and counterspell etc.

Bonus points if you can kill them by attacking with KsK as a 0/1, but having Cavalcade of Calamities on the table

I do like the idea of running blue to have card draw, but that is not the way.
(Also, if you partner jeska, look for cards that make planeswalker abilities trigger additional times. This is the way.)

I like the idea of going mono red with cards that double/triple damage and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell. This is the way.

Ravos, Soultender would give you access to black and white, with a haste engine on the field you can let Rograkh hit the yard, return him to your hand and keep recasting him for 0.
Thrasios, Triton Hero gives you control and ramp with green and blue, plus a mana dump if you have extra.
Eligeth, Crossroads Augur would give you the blue for control, plus you can build in scry effects such as Crystal Ball to draw the control and voltron elements you need for Rograkh

Maybe try Juri, Master of the Revue and Bludgeon Brawl with lots and lots of cheap eggs and mana rocks. This becomes an actual wincon once you include Phyresis and/or Cranial Plating.

I was going to sat maybe Tymna the Weaver as a partner. You will have access to black/white for support and removal and if you throw lifelink onto Rograkh you can draw some cards off of Tymna.

Reyhan, Last of the Abzan could be the partner, you can use green for +1/+1 counters to grow the kobold, and support with black for removal and carddraw.

seshiro_of_the_orochi Juri doesn’t have partner, and, as I understand it, OP wants to have KsK as one of their commanders.

Though Juri, Master of the Revue sounds fun combined with Dockside Extortionist, Smothering Tithe and any sac outlet for creatures or mana sink. In Mardu colors the punishing when sacrificed cards would round it out into something quite annoying.

@topic: I went through the possible partners, and I have another suggestion: Pair the kobold with Dargo, the Shipwrecker and make it a treasure deck.

I understand that you are likely not going for cEDH powerlevels, but Silas Renn, Seeker Adept is objectively the strongest pairing with rograhk simply because of the color pairing. Not memeimg here, rograhk is a top tier cEDH commander when paired with silas because he allows for the cmdr free spells on t1 without having to spend your entire turn on doing so as well as useful for saccing to things like Culling the Weak to really get a massive turn going. Just thought I should put this out there.

Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker would be good. You get white for all of the equipment synergy plus blue for card draw and interaction. Ishai is also a good backup voltron commander to either pressure a second opponent mid game or to play after the kobold had died 3 times.

Use Jeska or the damage-tripling lizard as the other partner. This is the way. Include the one you don’t partner in the deck, and make sure to include firey intervention and Torbran. This is the way.
