I was suppost to build a big mana deck but instead I found Anafenza, the Foremost and I liked the card so I decided to build her with Birthing Pod.
Is there a basic cmc creature ratio like 4 1cmc creatures, 5 2cmc creatures etc... or is it just up to me?

I would have a glut of four mana creatures because you’ll always have access to a three mana creature. After that, it’s more about the effects you want and your ability to reuse them than a critical mass of each cmc
Pod is just about knowing what pod chains apply to what board state so if you have a few useful redundancies at each cmc that’s good, or like I said, ways to reuse stuff.
