Mono Blue Big-Mana Burly Boi Beats ft. Urza?

I stumbled across this idea when I realized that Urza is a very powerful mana rock. Play eggs until you cast him, and the turn after, you'll have something like 7-10 mana. On Turn 5. In a mono-blue deck. Run cards like Vedalken Archmage,Sai and Riddlesmith for that sweet sweet card draw, Etherium Sculptor and Chief of the Foundry for good ol' ramp, and Nezahal and Blightsteel Colossus\Darksteel Colossus for the beats! One of my favorite blue mana cards is Iceberg. While it’s phenomenal theme (which is why it’s in my Briny Deep deck) it could be quite a slingshot for what you’re talking about. It might be overkill at this point (casting it for a ton would probably only set you BACK one turn) but this card is forgotten about all the time so I wanted to at least mention it.

That seems like a cool card! I've never heard of it, but it does seem like overkill. I'll go check out the Briny Deep!

I hope you enjoy looking through my (less-effective) theme-decks. One of the biggest sources of enjoyment for me in making these is combing through all of the cards we have at our disposal, looking for (in this case) ocean cards. It’s very easy to slide into the mindset of “this is the set of cards that make you win” and blind yourself to the TONS of neat cards that people put a lot of thought into. Everyone should play EDH in a way that they enjoy, but if your enjoyment wavers please consider just taking a stroll through the gorgeous wilds of all the cards we purposefully never think of. ;p

Oh yeah, that's the third time I've linked Chief of the Foundry instead of Foundry Inspector. Also, Jhoira's Familiar seems great. Would you mind checking the deck out? I'm looking for feedback on it. Thanks for the suggestions, DeinoStinkus!
