Breath of Fury or Sword of the Paruns?

Commander Deck Help forum

Krenko, Mob Boss was my first commander, and I chose him because of his potential to go infinite. Despite this, I only have one infinite combo (Skirk Prospector + Sword of the Paruns) in the deck because my meta isn't a huge fan of going infinite.
Ever since I first learned about Breath of Fury I've been considering adding that as a combo as well. It would certainly make the combo more complicated, as I would need a haste enabler and some evasion on the field as well, but it seems like the payoff would be that it would be more fun if I could actually pull it off. What are your thoughts? deck link

Depends how triggered your group would be. I personally like combo, but it's really up to your friends to accept or veto

Play it once, warm them ahead of time, let them ban it afterwards if they feel it was broken. And if all else fails, find a second playgroup.

Breath of Fury is an easy enough to stop combo since you just have to block the enchanted creature, so it shouldn't draw too much hate (though this is entirely dependent on your playgroup). And if the token is huge then chances are you're already in a good place to win.

You could also look at using Aggravated Assault as another line with Skirk Prospector. At worst, it's "pay five, untap Krenko", but it does so much more than this.

I use Aggravated Assault with Sword of feast and famine in a deck you can also use ventmaw or bear umbra if you are in spalsh green deck. I support delicious salt of infinite combat with aggravated assault

hejtmane: The reason I was suggesting Aggravated Assault was not actually because of the extra combat phases. While you can run a bunch of card which generate enough mana that you can keep attacking, the big thing that the card does is for 5 mana it untaps all of your creatures. Even if you completely ignore the combat steps and just straight up win through Impact Tremors or something else, with Skirk Prospector and Krenko you only need 3 other goblins to run the loop. And at 4 other goblins you go both infinite on both goblin tokens and red mana.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I've definitely considered Aggravated Assault for that reason, but part of the reason I'm considering Breath of Fury is that it has more moving parts and thus allows for more interaction from my opponents, hopefully preventing salt. The main issue I see is that breath of fury basically requires Goblin Tunneler or at least Rogue's Passage to be any good, while with Sword of the Paruns I can at least use whatever excess mana I have laying around to activate it if I don't have Skirk Prospector.
