Best mono green commander from these?
Commander Deck Help forum

I have three mono green commanders, and I am pretty sure all three cards are going in my deck. I don't want anything expensive in my deck, this will just be a whatever I got on hand and whatever is cheapest deck. The deck has tons and TONS of high power strong creatures like Thorn Elemental Jugan, the Rising Star Panglacial Wurm impervious slagwurm Pelakka Wurm scut mob ( Potential strong ) Gigantosaurus Verdurous Gearhulk Thragtusk Terra Stomper.
Because of this, I am thinking of going with a Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma or a Ghalta, Primal Hunger
I also have a TON of green mana ramp including Boundless Realms so I am also thinking of using Omnath, locust of mana as my commander. Maybe find a way to give it trample with the Primal Rage I got.
So with that in mind, I also want to throw in Helm of the Host which I think will want to be a major win condition too. I know I don't have any real way to search for it, but I also want the commander to be the best option for that artifact as well.
What do you guys think is the best commander for this deck?

I'll second the Omnath. being able to smash someone out of the game or use all the extra mana to ramp yourself into next week is pretty powerful. Rogue's Passage would be a good include for him if you have one.

Hello, did you think aboutYeva, Nature's Herald ? Don't know your list but with her on the Battlefield you Can be more polyvalent with creature like Terastodon, Woodfall Primus. You Can create more draw engines with her. Keep your creatures in your hand, play them at the end of a turn, draw with Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Garruk's Packleader,Beast Whisperer...

@mgc974 I Do have a Yeva, Nature's Herald in my binder! I think I will include that. I don't have a list yet, I am still looking through my boxes of cards to see what I got for this, but I am almost done pulling together what I got so far.

If you have Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger he’s great for mana ramp. I have a mono-green list and I usually rarely have to play him because I have 4-5 other mana doubling effects in the deck. People will usually get worried when I pull him out but all I have to do is assure them I almost never play him and it’s a fair game where you don’t die before turn 5.

I kind of like Goreclaw, as he has a trample effect built into him, and you wouldn't have to wait for Primal Rage to show up and get removed. He also offers a bit of mana acceleration, which is nice if you're looking to throw down a bunch of fatties.

In response to what bushido_man96 said. If you just plan on playing big creature tribal then goreclaw is good, the trample helps with the slow and steady beatdown. Then trample is important. Most mono green finishers are cards that give your creatures trample and something else. Cards like Overwhelming Stampede, Pathbreaker Ibex, and Triumph of the Hordes being the main 3. Predatory Focus, Bellowing Tanglewurm, Nacatl War-Pride, Regal Behemoth, and many other green and colorless finishers. So if you plan on hitting the table for the win in one swing using cards like these then gorclaw's trample isn't that important

vasarto77 for under 100 dollars, you can get a good mono G deck. First, cut all the vanilla creature in the deck even Gigantosaurus unless Goreclaw is your commander.Same for Impervious Greatwurm. If you play big creature, they must have an impact when they etb or attack. Spore Frog doesn't help you to get throught the goal of your deck. Hush there are a lot of enchantement in your meta ?
You can easily find some green good stuff for trade in the blinders of other players.
You can go on EDHrec and see the most played cards in mono green EDH. There are a lot of cheap good cards

Oh and it's important to play creatures like Reclamation Sage , Woodfall Primus, Acidic Slime rather than cards like Naturalize, Dissenter's Deliverance or Crushing Canopy
Chromatic Lantern has no power here ^^

@mcg974 - Thanks, a lot of those suggestions seem really good. I will be keeping some of those cards until I can get those you mentioned. I already have a woodfall primus, and the rec sage and acidic slime should be easy to find. I am keeping Hush since I run limited enchantments, and I want an answer to large amounts of enchantments and artifacts since it is a part of the meta where I am. I also think it is a good idea to have at least one or two cards as "just in case's".
Only other card I want to keep is the spore frog, because he's adorable. I also only put the lanturn in there for the extra mana, but now that I am thinking about it I am pretty sure I can find something much better. Thanks!
