I'm trying to gather ideas for a dinosaur deck. I already have a commander figured out, but I could use some suggestions for what I should keep in the deck and what I should take out of it.

The one dinosaur you need 100% no questions asked is Wayward Swordtooth.

Ranging Raptors and Forerunner of the Empire are a great combo. You'll be able to get more ramp every single time you play a dino.

Also, Marauding Raptor is GREAT, especially with Ranging Raptors.

Pyrohemia + Ranging Raptors is an ABSURD ramp engine.

With Ranging Raptors, you can easily be ramping 1-2 lands every turn for incredibly small investments. Probably the best dinosaur engine out there.

Also, the best win con for Dinos is Polyraptor. with Pyrohemia or Forerunner it goes infinite. Just provide an outlet like Impact Tremors or Goblin Bombardment and you'll win.

I like the Enrage mechanic, and fights are best when they involve dinosaurs! I’ve got a mess of that in my Kong, King of Skull Island, grab whatever you like!! You may enjoy making it a tight-quarters fistfight with Familiar Ground, or something like that. Enjoy!

Dinosaurs may have roamed the earth for hundreds of millions of years, but most magic card dinosaurs were only made in the last few years. There just isn't that many of them to pick from for a dedicated tribal deck. Don't be afraid of changelings (like Taurean Mauler) to fill out the deck. The flavor of the dinosaur theme might feel diminished but the playability should go up.

thank you! I probably should have specified this in the first place, but the deck is meant more for messing around with people than anything else.

Check out my brother's dino deck for inspiration. I feel he's running a nice set of the good dinos. He does have a stronger Enrage theme than you might be going for but his creature spread is pretty solid.
