Hello fellow nerds. Im looking for some good manga. I recently got this app called manga master but I have a problem I don't know what to read. I recently got caught up with the promised neverland which os really good and you should check it out. But I'm a fan of shonen action fantasy horror and adventure stories. I'm already watch/ reading naruto baruto dragon ball attack on titan and was never a fan of one piece. But really go check out promised neverland

Hey! Based off your favorite genres, I would recommend Re Zero, it has great characters and world building though the pacing could be better.

Another two are Future Diary and Deadman Wonderland. Both are battle royale style mangas with thriller, action, and horror elements.

If you love a good yandere, check any of these three out!

If you enjoy the dark fantasy, I recommend Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji). Some of the most beatiful manga art, wrapped around a wonderful story about a boy and his butler, a powerful demon.

If you are like me and enjoy science, I heartily recommend the shounen manga Dr Stone. The story unfolds in the present day - there is a huge phenomenon (so far origins unknown) that literally turns every to stone. Our hero is a highschool science enthusiast who is the first one able to wake up from stony slumber, only to discover that several thousand years have passed. He sets out to reestablish humanity's former glory through science.

Slice of Life:Sweetness and Lightning. It's sweet enough to give you cavities.( I mean it's in the name right)

Action:Kaze no Stigma. An oldie but a goodie. think the last airbender but no Avatar

Occult:Natsume's Book of Friends. I call it one of the best Manga I've ever read and the anime one of the best I've ever watched.

Drama: Peach Girl again a old one but solid.

Romance: Kimi no todoke. Nice and simple no three-way love triangles or cheating.

Sports: cross game. A baseball manga and if that's not your thing there is a good helping of drama and comedy as well.

Sci-fi: Psycho-Pass. Futuristic utopian/dystopian manga that brings up an interesting concept.. .. also really cool guns. ( also full Metal Panic it's what got me in the anime and manga)

Horror: anything with artwork done by Junji Ito is 100% going to give you a phobia you didn't know about.

But if you want to stay away from The Nightmare fuel I would say something like: Shiki. Heads up there with about vampires one you know cuz for a lot of people that's just a turn off.( Hellsing by the off chance you don't know what that is)

Comedy:Barakamon. It's about calligraphy and small annoying children.

Music:Nodame Cantabile. I really recommend watching the anime of this so you can hear the music but hey it's a genre.

And knocked it down 2 one per genre but if you want some more let me know when I definitely can't give you more. Also I try to pick some more obscure ones hoping they might be something you haven't heard of.

And yeah some of those genres you didn't ask for but reading outside of your wheelhouse can be enjoyable sometimes.

I'm more of a fantasy nut, but Rurouni Kenshin, Inyuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, and virtually all of the Sword Art Online series is excellent. Psycho Pass is great as well. Recently watched Kill la Kill...if you're looking for the epitome of anime, look no further. It's a complete mess of over the top everything that I really just couldn't stop watching. Wouldn't say it's good, definitely entertaining though.

I recommend Blam! by Tsutomu Neihei if only for the reason I think more people should read it. It’s an amazingly illustrated post-apocalyptic science fiction adventure, though the story is kinda secondary to the world it sets up. There’s a prequel series called NOiSE that I’ve only read the first issue of, but it seems to be more action/story-based - probably more up your alley.
