Zurgo needs only 3 clean attacks to kill one opponent, increase his lethality using Temur Battle Rage, Fatal Frenzy, Boros Charm, Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion and Duelist's Heritage also Aggravated Assault, World at War, Waves of Aggression, Seize the Day and Savage Beating grants an extra attack (the last two may allow an one hit k.o).

Ensure your Strategy

Bedlam, Shizo, Death's Storehouse, Rogue's Passage,Whispersilk Cloak, Sejiri Steppe, Spectra Ward and Flickering Ward to avoid most os blockers and protect your general also Swiftfoot Boots, Darksteel Plate, Champion's Helm and Gift of Immortality should decrease zurgo's vunerabilitys.Equip Assault Suit and zurgo will keep attacking even in your opponents turn.

Unleash Chaos

Now... good reasons to be hated, 15 wipes: Damnation, Day of Judgment, Wrath of God,Austere Command, Merciless Eviction, Scourglass, etc most of them doesnt affect you and should be enouth to control the field, allowing zurgo to play freelly. In addition to that Lethal Vapors, The Abyss and AEther Flash are some permanents that will keep you feeding graveyards.

Deal With Them

Removals to deal with nocreature permanents Aura of Silence, Anguished Unmaking, Return to Dust, Utter End, Vandalblast, Merciless Eviction and Austere Command.

15 Enchantments 15 wipes Academy Rector is a must have and easy to trigger. Put any of them on the field, aways considering your situation, a good call is Eldrazi Conscription.
