Across the sea, the battle of Guandu rages on between the strong simple Cao,cao and his childhood friend, Yuan Shao. The battle will be fierce and the outlook looks grim for Yuan Shao. But unlike the other battle, Yuan Shao has a trick up his sleeve.

A Fire Breathing Dragon.

This is another deck in my series of Unplayable Commanders Commander's that have less then three decks on tapped out. And while Yuan Shao, the Indecisive is not going to be a tier one powerhouse, it's got a few interesting tricks up it's sleeve that I think actually make it worth giving a try.

Yuan Shao, the Indecisive has a weird sort of evasion. Each our creature can't be double blocked, triple blocked, quadruple blocked ect. Ok, so they just block with one dude, no problem for them.

Well, all we have to do is give our stuff menace. Goblin War Drums gives it as a static ability. Gorlia war cry, Demoralize and Firemantle Mage all make our creatures unblockable.

So we built a one sided Bedlam (Which is also in the deck because redundancy) what do we do with that?

We play all the damage triggers!

Flamerush Rider , Grenzo, Havoc Raiser, Hanweir Garrison Slith creatures like Falkenrath Marauders and Markov Blademaster , Matron Stromgald, Orcish Squatters , Prophetic Flamespeaker, Rapacious One. Basically if it has a damage or attack trigger, it was at least considered.

Or maybe you just put a Sword of Feast and Famine or an Umezawa's Jitte on an creature with menace, Or yuan Shao himself thanks to horsemanship. And wreck face.

Other then that the deck, is basically self explanatory. Ramp in Caged Sun, Extraplanar Lens. Buffs like Berserkers' Onslaught and Patron of the Akki and good stuff like Inferno Titan.

Really, this is just a mono red good stuff with an emphasis on damage triggers and really while Yuan shao isn't as bad as he looks and this deck is probably quite good. There are better options in this color that could make basically this deck minus stuff like Goblin War Drums .

Wanna play an optimized version of this deck? The best commander is already in the deck. Grenzo, Havoc Raiser is exactly what this deck wants. And you certainly wouldn't be able to use this exact list and get as good results, A few changes and this is a great Grenzo deck.
