Yorion, Sky nomad. Combo.

Commander / EDH WU (Azorius)

Ethan2003

Intro.

This deck works by ETBing your nonlandboard state out and in on everyone end steps. This will be how we disrupt and slow down everyone else until we can combo off. Every end step you will get your triggers. From drawing cards, returning to hand, land ramping, destory/bounce and fking with peoples mana base.

What is are the wincons?

The whole idea is to disrupt and staxs the game with ETBs until we can combo off. The combos are:

Eldrazi Displacer+Peregrine Drake+Altar of the Brood OR Genesis Chamber

Deadeye Navigator+Peregrine Drake+Altar of the Brood OR Genesis Chamber

Deadeye Navigator+Cloud of Faeries+Altar of the Brood OR Genesis Chamber

Felidar Guardian+Restoration Angel+Altar of the Brood OR Genesis Chamber

Felidar Guardian+Sakashima the Impostor+Altar of the Brood OR Genesis Chamber

Felidar Guardian+Spark Double+Altar of the Brood OR Genesis Chamber

How Do We Blink On Everyones End Step?

Use Yorion and any of the creatures that say something like 'Exile another target creature, then return it to the battlefield...' or clone. (it will be explained) type effects.

this can be divided into three types, the return to play immediately types, Beginning of the next end step types and clone/copy target creature type.

return to play immediately.

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Felidar Guardian

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Restoration Angel

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Eldrazi Displacer+9 mana (3 mana per turn)

When we have these in play when Yorion is cast, Yorion will exile them. At end of turn they will return to play and you can then target Yorion. Yorion will return to play immediately and then you exile your nonland cards including the cards above. Because its the end of turn, Yorion's ability that returns at "beginning of the next end step" will wait for the next players end step.

Return at beginning of the next end step

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Sentinel of the Pearl Trident

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Charming Prince(chose option three)

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Flickerwisp

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Glimmerpoint Stag

this has slightly different process. we will cast Yorion targeting any of the creatures below. At the end of turn, the chosen creature enter the battlefield, we then target Yorion. the chosen creature is delayed until "beginning of the next end step", we wait a full turn for the next end step. this results in all of our permanents NOT in exile. Yorion is in exile. Then when Yorion returns he will exile your nonland permanents, and we get the delay again. This time Yorion remains on the battlefield during main phases, with your nonland permanents in exile. Its an alternating pattern . Board in on main, Yorion in on main.

Example:

'If its a 4 player game

Player 1 (you) : Cast Yorion exiling nonland permanents including Flickerwisp.

Player 2 : Nonland permanents in play through main phases. Yorion in exile through main phases.

Player 3 : Yorion in play through main phases. Nonland permanents in exile through main phases.

Player 4 : Nonland permanents in play through main phases. Yorion in exile through main phases.

Player 1 (you) : Yorion in play through main phases. Nonland permanents in exile through main phases.'

or you already have Yorion in play, you cast a card like Flickerwisp

'Player 1 (you) : Cast Flickerwisp exiling Yorion.

Player 2 : Yorion in play through main phases. Nonland permanents in exile through main phases.

Player 3 : Nonland permanents in play through main phases. Yorion in exile through main phases.

Player 4 : Yorion in play through main phases. Nonland permanents in exile through main phases.

Player 1 (you) : Nonland permanents in play through main phases. Yorion in exile through main phases.'

Clone/copy Target Creature method:

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Dance of Many

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Spark Double

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Sakashima the Impostor

This is the most protective method. You will only have the permanents ETBing at the everyones end step. None of this alternating pattern that leaves your Commander and board-state exposed.

Yorion is copied by Dance of Many the legend rule takes effect and you chose Yorion. When you sacrifice the Dance of Many Yorion's blink power resolve before the card is sacked. Rise and repeat at every end step. This allows us to alway bring our Yorion on the end step, making impossible for other players to interrupt my ETBs at sorcery speed.
another option for the loop is Sakashima the Impostor and/or Spark Double. Once of those come in as a nonexact copy of Yorion, Sky Nomad, (thus forgoing the legendary rule.) the copy then exiles Yorion, Sky Nomad triggering a loop.

Alternate Flicker Loop.

Yorion, Sky Nomad+Spellseeker+cards like Cloudshift+Archaeomancer while this method is more complex and requires more pieces, they work great by themself and enable other combos and key interactions.
