Dockside —Aug. 8, 2019

Dockside Extortionist is kinda nuts and has some great value with Outcome.

Command Tower Mana Rock is also pretty good.

Reversal and Citadel aren't preforming well enough. Reversal is as conditional as I thought and Citadel is kinda fat and hard to cast.

How much do you think the deck wants to run a second copy of a Veil effect? I've been playing my Yidris brew in a bit more of an all in race style and I tend to find I just need the one. I also switched over to Veil of Summer and I find I usually only need the effect until I can land City of Solitude to hard lock opponents out of being able to interact while storming off.

Also, have you given any thought to trying to orient the build around getting Yidris down on turn 2 reliably and consistently? I've been playing with this list lately: Yidris Wheel. It's extremely consistent about going off on turn 3, but has the problems you might expect in a format dominated by interaction heavy Sultai PS brews.

Hi been looking at building yedris recently, would you mind going over the wincons of the deck?

@ etracey In this list and many Yidris brews a primary win condition is Lab Man or Jace. Typically one of three lines is used to empty the library and then draw on an empty library for a win: Storming off drawing the whole deck, Cascading off (which is essentially the same in terms of functionality), or utilizing a Forbidden Tutor line to exile the whole deck while also finding Lab Man or Jace. Some iterations may include back up win conditions, the most common of which are typically Aetherflux Reservoir, Windfall/Wheel of Fortune/Abrupt Decay/Swan Song looping, Doomsday pile stacking with Lab Man, and occasionally looping Bolas's Citadel triggers.
