Some Combos:
Conspiracy + Phyrexian Altar + Rotlung Reanimator
Result: Infinite colored mana. Infinite ETB. Infinite LTB. Infinite death triggers. Infinite sacrifice triggers.
Requires: All permanents on the battlefield. Conspiracy naming "Cleric". You control at least one additional creature. But of course every time you sacrifice a 2/2 Zombie Cleric Rotlung Reanimator will trigger creating another 2/2 Zombie Cleric creature token.
Steps:
Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing any other creature, adding one mana of any color.
The creature dies, triggering Rotlung Reanimator, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
Repeat.
With the Above Combo setup then use Cabal Archon using some of the mana you made to sacrafice a a 2/2 Zombie Cleric creature token to make an opponent lose 2 life and you gain 2 life. Would need 60 mana and 60 creature tokens to kill all your opponents.
To cause further Chaos have Zulaport Cutthroat out pinging every opponent and netting you life.
With the first combo setup you'll have quite a bit of mana setup for yourself. Using that mana cast Gray Merchant of Asphodel netting you at least 5 life when he enters the battlefield. (Obviously more if you have more colored permanents out) The reanimate him using a number of effects such as Phyrexian Reclamation, Victimize, Raise Dead or Reanimate.
Once you have bunch of life you can do a couple of things.
- Use Phyrexian Processor and make a X/X black Phyrexian Minion creature token where its power/toughness is how much ever life you want to pay.
(If Filth is in the graveyard and you have Blanket of Night out then congratulations, your Phyrexian Minions are now unblockable. Or if Cover of Darkness is out naming clerics.)
II. Use Yawgmoth, Thran Physician second ability using life and mana you made combo-ing to proliferate a bunch of -1/-1 counters onto your opponents creatures. You could get these onto the creatures using cards such as Afflict, Defile, sacrificing Phyrexian Defiler or any other phyrexian creatures or using Dismember. Idealy you'll use his first ability to Draw you a bunch of cards. Then when you use the second ability to proliferate the -1/-1's you put on creatures discarding you a card you should discard all your creature cards. Then with your graveyard full of creatures use Balthor the Defiled's second ability causing all of them to enter the battlefield.
You can also use Contamination to completely lock your opponents out of the game. (Unless they're playing mono black of course.)
You can also use Ashnod's Altar + Conspiracy + Rotlung Reanimator
to create unlimited colorless mana netting you 2 per sacrifice then using one of the colorless man to activate Soul Net gaining you unlimited life.
Then just use Bolas's Citadel To cast everything until you can't play another land.
If you have Black Market out while doing this sacrifice loop you'll also net a ton of black mana at the beginning of your precombat main phase, each time its your precombat main phase.
That's all I can see right now lol I legit just put this whole thing together today 11/5/22 so im still not entirely sure of how powerful it is. I've also wanted to use all retro framed cards to make an EDH deck for awhile now and Black is my favorite color in mtg so im super excited to build this.
