Due to the increasing amount of graveyard fuckery my friends and I are participating in, + 1 Scooze. Also looking into some minor tweaks pretty soon. Get Punched.

Also... PIG PIG PIG PIG!

What are your thoughts on Utvara Hellkite? It creates more dragons and is beefy.

I am not at all opposed to the Hellkite. One of the main reasons I love this deck is that there are so many Big League Boys to throw into the mix. It definitely meets all of my criteria (evasion, utility, and either an immediate board effect or some type of passive tax or whatnot). The thing is, what I really look for in creatures is whether I would tutor for it or not. There are a ton of dragons that fit in here but the deck is in a spot now where if I make changes, I'm more often than not looking to make noticeable improvements and not just lateral movements.

That being said, you said my 2 favorite words: IS BEEFY. I fuckin love it and I think it is probably the best token generator Xenagod here could ask for. Tokens don't add to my devotion at all (noice), and what better token than a flying 6/6 or 12/12 or whatever. As I Don't know why I had not thought it out more thoroughly before. But yeah, good call I'll test it out. I still have a few creatures that can be easily replaced (LOOKIN AT YOU, Silvos, Rogue Elemental

I figured my thought process and all that might be helpful to people lookin to upgrade and all that good shit. Or not, whatever.

Also, immediately following this comment I will update this list to the decks current state. I have been a very lazy man apparently.

I do have two more possible suggestions. Take them as you will. They are Fling and Warstorm Surge. Also, feel free to check out my decks, particularly my R/G Elemental deck. :)

Thanks for the suggestions homies. Ruric Thar has been a recent addition for me, So I don't have it in the list here but he is in the actual deck. As soon as I have had a chance to play with it a few times I'll update again. I am interested in Mina and Denn, Wildborn, seems like it could work out. Goreclaw seems to be doing well though, so we will see.

Warstorm Surge is one of those cards that I can't seem to justify. Viable in my style of deck, but is expensive and slow. Most likely it would be the thing I do that turn, and at that point, it is what I'd consider a potential threat instead of an immediate threat. I chose the support enchantments and all that based on how viable they would be if I played them "on curve". Really the turn order for Xenagod is like this: T1: land and ramp, T2(great movie)/T3: ramp or support card, if T2 was ramp, Xenagod. He has to hit the field by T4 in order to still be above curve. 5 and 6 CMC cards are difficult to add to the deck, because Xenagod himself is always the 5 drop. And the turn after that should be some type of threat. I have a turn BEFORE Xenagod to set up the board, but setting up after is just wishful thinking.

I lose track of myself, apologies.

I had always thought Fling was a sorcery, but it being an instant is maybe enough to change my mind. It provides a small amount of utility and some reach. It gives the potential to off a nerd that may have expended resources to survive being serial crushed.

Again, thanks for the suggestions.

I saw Fling in your maybeboard-try running Thud in the main.
