Xenagos deck tuned for my local LGS (which is a blue heavy meta). Enjoy!

The ideal goal of the deck is to consistently play Xenagos on Turn 3 and on turn 4 drop a fatty so that you can kill someone on Turn 5. My LGS has a lot of combo players so by turn 4 I find the biggest threat and try put them At low life. It makes them sweat and the rest of the players will usually try and kill them with whatever they have on the field.

The Mana curve is really tight in this deck so it doesn't leave you a lot of Mana to due other things on your first 4 turns.

Turn 1 ramp

Turn 2 ramp/or xenagos if your lucky

Turn 3 Xenagos

Turn 4 fatty swinging for 12 to 33 damage depending on your hand.

Most of our answers to an opponents board state are done via creatures. We have a decent amount of creature tutors so we can usually resond on our next turn with an answer. If you have a strong feeling someone is going to win on their next turn try and hold three mana for a chaos warp or beast within and not drop a creature that turn.

The most dangerous creatures are hands down Scourge of the Throne and Pathbreaker Ibex. That goat has enabled more wins than any other creature in this deck.

Scourge will hit the highest life player for 33 damage the turn he comes out(Assuming xenagos is online, which he should be. Try and keep your life lower than your opponents during the first few turns via fetches, shocks, and ancient tomb. This enables those Scourge alpha strikes.

Worst case scenario the Goat turns all of your Mana dorks into 7/7 tramplers. If you have any extra combats you can usually kill two if not three of your opponents at once.

Tips and notes about the deck:

The obligatory always try to keep xenagos an enchantment via keeping your devotion low. He becomes extremely difficult to remove in this state.

All of the Mana dorks and utility creatures can be sacrificed to skull clamp to continue drawing through the deck. If you your LGS has a little slower play style you can spend your early turns ramping harder for more explosive plays on Turn 5 or 6.

Bane of progress is your friend, he ruins everyone's day and keeps the table in check.

Eldritch Evolution turns any of your 3 drop creatures(there are currently 7 in the deck) into a Malignus which lets you one shot a player with no blockers. Keep an eye out as this opportunity happens quite often in 4 player games. If your going to sacrifice Somberwald to do this make sure you have a means of recovery in case you eat a counter spell or removal.

Combos:

There are two ways to do infinite combats in this deck and the both involve Aggravated Assault(Imagine that!)

Aggravated assault + Savage Ventmaw

Aggravated Assault + Selvala + any six power creature(If you have Xenagos out you only need a 3 power creature)

In regards to the combo with Selvala, if you don't have any creatures to make it work you can try and bring Xenagos online as he's a 6/5 creature. Selvala, Xenagos, and Aggravated Assault are already giving you 5 devotion so it shouldn't be too hard.
