This deck revolves around the mutate ability. The point is to take a small creature like Essence Symbiote and mutate, this can't be how you use this verb, another creature on top of it, such as Parcelbeast, Boneyard Lurker, or Otrimi, the Ever-Playful, to make a larger more powerful creature. This deck also allows a bit of deck altering and card draw in the form of Contingency Plan, Glowspore Shaman, Growth Spiral, and Sultai Ascendancy. There are also cards that support mutation like Essence Symbiote and Pollywog Symbiote.
