Wow, that's a tasty deck there. . . It would be a pity if I killed you with it.

Why bother filling you deck with win conditions when you can just use your opponents? Piracy has always been efficient means for success since you don't have to do any of the heavy lifting. Not that I'm advocating for you to become a scumbag and take up a villainous mantel, merely that Merieke Ri Berit is the perfect mix of "if I can't have it, no one can," plus you have the bonus of support of one of the nastiest color combos in all of magic.

Win Conditions:

1) Grind out value with Merieke Ri Berit. Keep the battlefield clear of any threats--except for yours. Counter, steal, and pick off threats as they arrive.

2) Go off with our infinite combo: Temple Bell + Ulamog + Mind Over Matter = deck our opponents. This combo can come out of the blue for an explosive win. You tap Temple Bell for everyone to draw a card, discard the card to Mind Over Matter to untap Temple Bell rinse and repeat. When you discard Ulamog, your shuffle your graveyard into your library preventing you from decking yourself.

Fun Stuff:

I'll Take That Too. Perplexing Chimera + Merieke Ri Berit = fun (for you). Once you drop Chimera, you can steal all your opponent's spells and then steal your Chimera back with Merieke Ri Berit just to give it away again for whatever sweet spell your oppenets cast next.

Death Triggers. This includes the Avatar of Woe, Thornbite Staff, Mimic Vat, Cemetery Puca, Coffin Queen, and Merieke Ri Berit herself. Since Merieke Ri Berit will destroy creatures if she leaves play or becomes untapped you can still keep those sweet creature that your opponent's cast with Puca, Coffin Queen, and the Mimic Vat. Thorbite Staff on Merieke Ri Berit plus a single untap means you can chain a destroy-untap loop to wipe the battlefield.

No Take Backs. Use the Conjurer's Closet to blink the creatures you've stolen to have them become yours forever even if Merieke Ri Berit get's untapped/destroyed.

Thanks for the Contribution. Use the Creatures you have stolen to steal more creatures! Sac them with Helm of Possession to steal some tasty treat that hits the battlefield.
