I wanted to make an infinite mill combo deck but in the end it became something new.
In this unique deck , almost every card can combo with almost any other to preform some sort of infinite combo
The downside is the lack of protection when it comes to this deck but it's quite easy to recover thanks to its nature so the damage is minimazed.
Tutorial:
Start by casting Cathartic Adept or Screeching Sliver then cast Zephyr Scribe or Battered Golem or Nettle Drone,after that cast Mirran Spy on turn 4 + Banishing Knack or Retraction Helix on the scribe/drone/golem and start casting and bouncing any 0 mana artifact and start milling to no end.
As you can imagine this sounds like a pretty weak combo but the beauty of this deck is that almost every card can replace an other making 4 and 5 card combos actually good since your not on the mercy of the card draw as much as you should.To be honest this deck is better than i thought for its price. Below is an example of why this deck is so flexable.Maybe not the fastest but one of the most consistent ones.
All the possible combos :
1)infinite mill Cathartic Adept / Screeching Sliver+ Mirran Spy +0 mana artifact+ Zephyr Scribe / Battered Golem / Nettle Drone + Banishing Knack / Retraction Helix
2)Infinite damage same thing but replace the Cathartic Adept / Screeching Sliver with Nettle Drone
3)In case of no Mirran Spy just replace the Nettle Drone /Cathartic Adept / Screeching Sliver with Reckless Fireweaver and start bouncing the artifact as normal for infinite damage.It does also work without the Reckless Fireweaver if you have 2 copies of Nettle Drone on the battlefield. Same can achieved with Grapeshot but after the infinite bouncing of the artifact
4)Unblockable infinite damage same as number 3 you can just keep bouncing the artifact if you have a Elusive Spellfist on the battlefield and finish your opponent with him
Also in case of a Damping Sphere making your life harder or aggro decks being a pain the sideboard is your best friend.Offering removal like Abrade, counter magic like Negate, protection from spells and creatures (Crab Umbra),(Cinder Wall)
along with some game changing spells (Flashfires) to show those pesky white aggro decks who's the boss arround here.
If you want to see some honorable mentions you may want to check the maybeboard. Who knows you may find something that you like.
