The foundation of this deck begins with the base of the old Derevi pre-constructed deck.

Our goal is NOT to turn it into some annoying control deck and make opponents want to do you bodily harm as you cast Stasis. Nay. However, that isn't to say we won't be tapping and untapping our opponent's AND our own things to our advantage. A lot!

What IS our goal is to give this deck more ETB effects and repeatedly abuse them when possible with a little help with some wizard friends, and of course we love dropping tokens and making them even bigger via our wizards and ETB effects.

We frown upon banned cards and infinite combos. We are here for fun 1v1 and multiplayer games, and I will tell you this deck is quite fun. We get as much mana as can handle, we tap stuff, we drop tokens, we exile all the things, and we draw cards until our opponent's vomit. Then ... we win!

This deck is all about synergy and finding the perfect blend of effects so that the deck becomes an unstoppable machine for creating advantage in mana, card draw, destruction, and clearing a path down win street.

I have upgraded/constructed The Wizard's Closet only with cards I actually have, but I will be adding cards to the "maybe" list as I find them, and updating with my collection as I acquire new cards.

One new card that works extremely well is Mage's Attendant. It's perfect! Low cost white creature with ETB effect of created a token blue wizard that can counter a spell if opponent doesn't spend mana! These are exactly the types of cards we are looking for!

Already, this deck is far more efficient and consistent than the original precon Derevi deck, and we hope to continue tweaking and editing. =)
