Honestly I Just feel in love with the precon, and so I just had to build a foretell deck. The whole mechanic reminded me of Trap cards from Yugioh in way, and those were always my favourite card to play in that TCG when I was a kid. Despite the combination of Flickering, Time Magic, Counter Spells and even some Land Destruction, perhaps giving of the wrong immediate wrong immediate impression of the list, this deck doesn't aim to take those elements to their extremes and I generally wanted more to have fun making and playing a UW colour combination. In fact, this will be my first time having less then three colours in a real EDH deck before! (Its taken me nearly four years of playing EDH, how do you people who play mono colour builds in EDH?!)
