HOW THE DECK PLAYS

This is an extremely aggressive red-white affinity build capable of swinging in with 6/8 flying creature with annihilator 1 on the second turn (Ornithopter equipped with Argentum Armor gained from popping Quest for the Holy Relic). A start like this is actually not uncommon:

Turn 1: Plains + Quest for the Holy Relic + ornithoptor

Turn 2: Plains + Memnite + Vault Skirge + Glint Hawk returning Memnite and then playing Memnite again = 5 counters. Sacrifice the Quest for the Holy Relic and equip the ornithopter with Argentum Armor. Blow up their first play land. That's hard to come back from.

KEY POINTS:

Quest for the Holy Relic doesn't actually target a creature, so once you sacrifice it your opponent is unable to respond until the equipment is equipped. This means that if they want to destroy your creature, they have to do it prior to you fetching the Argentum Armor as a response to sacking the Quest for the Holy Relic. And, if they do, you can either equip the armor to another of your creatures or, if there are no creatures left on the board, then a Batterskull will give you a 4/4 life link vigilance creature turn 2 which is also a superb second turn play.

No quest in the first turn? No problem. The sheer number of low-cost artifact creatures coupled with Cranial Plating, Signal Pest, and a single copy of Tempered Steel leads to brutal beginnings and swift death anyway.

SIDEBOARD:

There's a likelihood your opponents will sideboard in for the quest combination and artifact hate. Given this, a change of strategy is necessary. Instead of the quest and argentum armor combination, swap it out and deliver an extremely quick death with an artifact burn strategy. Boros Charm also serves to protect our artifacts from said hate.
