First place! :D In a way. Last match we played one game, which went to time and ended as a draw. Anyway, results are as follows...

Match 1: Gruul Aggro, 2-0. First game, was highly unfair. He got manascrewed and I did too much by the time he recovered. Second was closer, getting me to 2 but a risky Essence Harvest for a measly 2 ended up saving me, swinging overhead for the win.

Match 2: Jund Aggro, 2-0. Same person who beat me in the last match two weeks ago. Game 1, early lifelink secured my win, I was able to gain more than he was dealing without blocking. Game 2, I was light on creatures and ended up swinging Knight of Infamy paired with Silverblade Paladin. Soon as i got enough creatures, a Golgari Charm wiped all but the paladin, top decked Sublime Archangel to swing for the win next turn.

Match 3: G/W Tokens, 2-0. First game, was somewhat close but I was able to get double Infamy out, blocked all and swung each turn for unblockable damage. Game 2, same thing happened until Blood Baron of Vizkopa halted everything he could do.

Match 4: Junk tokens, 0-0 Draw. One of the most fun games I've played in a while, that ended up teaching me so much. I took an early lead, but then was unable to prevent him from ulting Sorin, Lord of Innistrad. He took a sublime and a nighthawk, ulted another sorin for the same two creatures. We pretty much raced on lifelink, neither of us could destroy each other's creatures, nor attack for more than we could gain. I would have won, but I didn't know that Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability stacked. I learned though and that actually helps a lot. So we went to time, split first. Overall, I couldn't be happier with how I played. I've got my list down to what I want, and feel I'm ready for the IQ in a week.

Cool deck! I also have an Exalted deck. Looks kinda similar to mine, but I find removal useful. I do like the Essence Harvest idea, and I'm tempted to use it myself. Does Disciple of Bolas help enough for it to be worth removing an exalted trigger? I find that the decks that are really able to dominate my deck are ones that have lots of removal or lots of counters, so losing that trigger seems like it would hurt more then help. +1 from me :)

Essence Harvest actually tends to be a game winner more often then you'd think, definitely use it if you can fit it in. The Disciple is super useful. Yeah, removing an exalted trigger could be dangerous. I have a few choices to remove, especially if i can use it on a Sorin token but often my hand seems to empty fast. Getting those cards back can help late game, and more often than not if i had to give up an exalted trigger I'll draw at least a couple more I can play. And thank you! :)

You're not removing any exalted triggers. The way you should be playing himdisciple is, swing exalted with a crappier creature for the turn, and sac him to draw X. I used souls, no idea why its not in here. You have a good idea, I think it needs a little more focus however. Tormented soul is poop, I'd drop him for doomed traveler. Also, cartel aristocrat would be fine here.

You will also need sb cards against verdicts. I hope u have sin collector. Also, as a previous player of Sublime, you need to protect her with at least some faiths shields, swinging heavy is your main win con, you need to make sure it goes through.

I agree with OFABass tormented soul really isnt that good there are better creatures out there for exalted I run an exalted deck that actually preforms very well at FNM and you need Lingering Souls in here its a must.

How often do u get that super awesome 20 damage swing? Its one of those flukes. As soon as you go to attack, I would burn in response to triggers. So it does nothing. He has potential, but he doesn't at the same time, if you understand. If you wanna be competitive, you deff need stronger cards, as tormented souk isn't gonna make it 98% of the time. You should also run a 1of Vault of the archangel. Souls is a beautiful card all around, and its gonna help against Voice of Resurgence.

I know with the lifegain creatures, Vizkopa Guildmage is pretty good, but have you ever thought about replacing it with possibly some control spells? I've tried Exalted/Control, and it seems to work out pretty well for me. I'm thinking either Murder , Ultimate Price (depending on how much multicolor there is in your meta), Crippling Blight , Pacifism , or Oblivion Ring . You can playtest with those cards in, but if it doesn't fit, hey, it doesn't fit. +1 from me! :)

Yeah, I've been thinking Tragic Slip as well since more often than not most people will block the huge exalted attacker, then I can slip for another. I've considered taking out one of each creature i have four of except the lifelinkers for some removal. And thanks! :)
