"What does a red set symbol mean?"

Commander / EDH

DotVersion2

My first mythic rare was Enter the Infinite . I didn't know what I was looking at when I looked at the set symbol. Why was it red? The other rarities were metals (except common but never mind that) so what did red mean? Knowing that there was a rarity above rare was a magical thought.

With that said, this deck uses only cards that have been, at some point, printed at mythic rarity.

I've listed the mythic rare printing of each of these cards for the sake of clarity. If you want to save some serious coin, just buy the versions at their original rarity and explain the joke to anyone who asks.

Q: "Why not include XYZ?" A: This deck is definitely made to be relatively goofy. There are plenty of cards that would make this way meaner than it already is. However, we're mostly looking to just flip into big things and let Maro take the wheel.

Note: TappedOut seems bugged and thinks that Spire Garden (ZNE) is a rare even though it is marked as a mythic on Gatherer. Bug report sent. For the time being, it is replaced by Mirrorpool
