This is my R/W standard deck that I'm wanting to take to FNM's and, hopefully, a larger event in the future. Over the course of the Return to Ravnica block, especially with the release of the Boros guild in Gatecrash, I'm looking to improve and streamline this strategy as much as possible.

The main tenet of this deck is token creation. Gather the Townsfolk has proven to be an all-star in this deck, retaining its value from early game to late game. Sever the Bloodline is still a major problem, but I try and minimize it's impact by playing several different token types. The Krenko's Commands in the mainboard are for additional variance and in case you run up against some pro-human aggro like Stromkirk Noble. Rootborn Defenses is amazing in this deck, protecting your army of tokens from sweepers with the added bonus of populating your tokens. Searing Spear pulls double duty as removal and extra reach.

Keeping tokens out and creating tokens is the main priority of the deck. The more the better as the number of creatures you control directly correlates with the amount of damage you can do with Burn at the Stake. The deck can often win without playing Burn at the Stake just through the sheer amount of pressure you can attain with the tokens and, recently, Hellrider . Burn at the Stake gives you really good reach on turn 5 and on to finish out games in an abrupt fashion.

I have almost all the cards for this deck now in RL. All I'm missing is the set of Sacred Foundrys, one Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, and a Slaughter Games for the sideboard. So, basically, I have been testing the deck out against my wives Zendi Vamps and my brothers Standard Grixis Control. Not exactly meta defining decks, but formidable and keeps me on my feet. The Zendikar Vampires are from a different standard era, so obviously the deck isn't designed to handle super fast black threats like that. The Grixis Control is still in development, so my deck, which has been evolving and and improving for months now, pretty much steam rolls it every time because of the sheer speed I can play at.
